The staff is "very friendly" and the maids "always cleaning" at this "elegant, if a tad bit worn" "quality property in Downtown New Haven", "surrounded" by "fun, eclectic restaurants" and "impressive views of Yale"; while rooms are "on the small side", bed linens "like burlap" and parking "limited", the "old-world charm" of the overall decor is "superb" and the "afternoon snack cart in the lobby" is a "nice touch."

Hotel staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.
Climate control fan was loud and windy.
Upscale hotel in a prime location in New Haven, close to Yale and good restaurants, yet quiet. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Full of unruly high school students making a ton of noise in the lobby area.

The king- sized bed was nice.
The bathroom had leaking faucets and the tub was awful.
I always try to stay in a high-end hotel room when traveling - why stay in a hotel room if it's not as nice as your house. For an Omni hotel, we were so disappointed.

The $18 charge for self-parking was excessive.
